I met Gabriel in the town of Paraiso about an hour from his families farm. Paraiso is the nearest town to work or buy things in the area they live. I spent a week with his family helping with the harvest. I became close with 84 year old Don Sebastian; the original coffee grower of the family. He calls me his "chalan" and I get to apprentice him and help as much as I can every time I visit. Every year I am impressed with the samples and feel very lucky to have the connection with their family. We have 3 years now buying coffee from his farm.

Agroecological coffee, natural management, 1 hectare micro lot. The plans are to continue maintaining the native varieties and continue with good practices in this micro lot to maintain quality. This lot has been producing for more than 20 years.
